Micromax launches dual-SIM Superfone A80 Infinity for Rs. 8,490

Micromax has launched another Android smartphone in the Indian market called Superfone A80 Infinity. And this smartphone is said to be manufactured for the heavy users as its target audience/customers. The Micromax A80 Infinitysmart phone features preloaded applications such as Mibuddy, Mstore, What’s app etc.

Display and Software
Micromax Superfone A80 Infinity runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and costs Rs 8,490. The A80 Infinity is a Dual-SIM phone that has 3.75-inch TFT Touch Screen display and is powered by an 800MHz processor. It also comes with Wi-Fi, 3G and the Aisha (which stands for Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistant) voice recognition software which is a Siri like voice assistant that helps users to update social networking sites, figure out phone status, know horoscopes, make language translations, inquire weather conditions etc,.

Battery
Other than this the device features a whopping 2500 mAh battery which is perhaps the reason for the infinity nomenclature is now available from online retailer nCarry. Micromax claims the battery would provide up to 7 hours of talk time and 288 hours of standby time, which is so far unheard of in any Android smartphones under Rs 10,000.

Camera and Memory
Micromax Superfone Infinity A80comes with a 5 megapixel camera with flash and 0.3 megapixel front facing camera. A80 comes with multiple camera settings such as night vision setting, multi shot option, camera censor and multiple video recording formats. The phone supports microSD cards up to 32GB of memory.

Its Competitors
It’s going to be very tough for the customers in choosing a phone among the array of low-cost Androids. Because the Superfone A80 Infinity will go hand in hand with the newly launched Karbonn A7, the iBall Andi range and the Spice Stellar range of smartphones. If you are looking for a long hour performer then Superfone A80 Infinity may be your choice because of its 2,500 mAh gigantic battery, which matches the battery that powers the Samsung Galaxy Note.
